      <image:title>Meet Our Physicians - Ronald F. Goldberg, MD</image:title>
      <image:caption>Since joining Summit Cancer Care in 1979, Ronald F. Goldberg has worked to establish a comprehensive system of cancer care in Savannah. He obtained a grant from the National Cancer Institute which led to the establishment of an oncology program at Memorial University Medical Center, the first of its kind in the Southeast and one of only twelve in the US. These grant funds also made access to clinical research possible in Savannah. Throughout his career, Dr. Goldberg has participated in clinical research and has been committed to focusing on the full range of patient needs by providing an individualized treatment program for each patient. After graduating from Boston University and Dartmouth Medical School, Dr. Goldberg received his medical degree from Harvard University School of Medicine in 1970. He completed a medical internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, and fellowships both in medical oncology and hematology at the State University of New York in Buffalo. He also served as a clinical assistant professor of medicine at SUNY and served as a captain in the United States Army before moving to Savannah. He currently holds a position as Clinical Professor of Medicine at Mercer Medical School. As part of Dr. Goldberg’s extensive involvement in promoting high standards of cancer care in the Savannah area, he served as director of the Medical Tumor Clinic at Memorial Health University Medical Center for 15 years and has held positions as the principal investigator of the Community Hospital Oncology Program, director of Oncology Services at Memorial and chairman of the Cancer Committee for the St. Joseph’s and Candler Hospital Consortium.  Dr. Goldberg has practices at all three of our St. Joseph’s / Candler clinic locations in Savannah, Pembroke, and Statesboro. He is married with two grown children and six grandchildren. He enjoys traveling, hiking, golfing, and spending time with his family.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Combining an academic background in cancer research with a belief in personalized cancer care, L.E. Bud Robertson came to Summit Cancer Care in 1995 from M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX, where his research focused primarily on leukemias and lymphoma, areas in which he has published extensively throughout his career. Robertson is a graduate of Baylor University and the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio. He completed a post-doctoral residency in Internal Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, a fellowship in Medical Oncology at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and a hematology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine, also in Houston. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology. Since 1995, Robertson has served as education chief of Hematology-Oncology at Memorial Health University Medical Center. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and a member of the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. Dr. Robertson sees patients at all three of our St. Joseph’s / Candler clinic locations in Savannah, Pembroke, and Statesboro.       <image:title>Meet Our Physicians - Barry D. Luskey, MD</image:title>
      <image:caption>Barry Luskey, MD Barry Luskey joined Summit Cancer Care in 2000, bringing with him a wealth of experience in both scientific research and clinical care. A graduate of Stanford University in Stanford, Calif., and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Dr. Luskey completed fellowships in hematology and oncology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital at Harvard Medical School in Boston, Mass. During fellowship, Dr. Luskey pursued basic research in gene therapy at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute at Children’s Hospital in Boston. For the next decade, Dr. Luskey was an attending physician at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas and in private practice with the nation’s largest oncology partnership, Texas Oncology. During this time, he continued clinical research endeavors focusing primarily on the care of hematologic malignancies. Board certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology and Hematology, Dr. Luskey is a member of the American Society of Hematology, the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Georgia Society of Clinical Oncology and the Georgia Medical Society. He is currently on staff at the Anderson Cancer Institute at Savannah’s Memorial Health University Medical Center and the Regional Cancer Center at St. Joseph’s/Candler Health System and attends the medical oncology and hematology clinics at Memorial where he teaches resident physicians in training.</image:caption>

Having completed his Hematology and Medical Oncology fellowships at the Medical College of Georgia in 2009, he has been involved with several exciting new advances in the treatment of cancer and blood disorders. Dr. Lewis holds a B.S.E. degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Mercer University School of Engineering and earned his Doctor of Medicine degree at the Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, GA. Dr. Lewis completed his internal medicine internship and residency at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Dr. Lewis is board certified in Medical Oncology and Hematology.       <image:caption>Alison (Ali) E. Spellman, M.D. joined Summit Cancer Care in August 2016, offering fresh perspectives in hematologic and oncologic care. Originally from Marietta, GA, Dr. Spellman graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.S in Biology. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree at the Medical College of Georgia. After finishing her Internal Medicine residency at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA, she returned to Augusta for her Hematology-Oncology fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia, finishing in 2016. Awarded for her bedside manner in the past, Dr. Spellman sees patients with every type of cancer. She strives to provide a personalized treatment plan, while screening each patient for possible clinical trial opportunities. Dr. Spellman is board certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, and Hematology. She is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Society of Hematology, and American Society of Clinical Oncology.  Dr. Spellman sees patients at the Lewis Cancer &amp; Research Pavilion in Savannah and our Effingham Cancer Center. He then completed an internship, residency in internal medicine, and a fellowship in hematology/oncology all at the University of Alabama – Birmingham.  Dr. White is licensed to practice medicine in Georgia, South Carolina, and Alabama. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the Christian Medical and Dental Association.  Dr. White joined Summit Cancer Care in 2020 and sees patients at all three of our St. Joseph’s / Candler clinic locations in Savannah, Pembroke, and Statesboro.       <image:title>Meet Our Physicians - Michael K. Chahin, DO</image:title>
      <image:caption>Michael  K. Chahin  joined Summit Cancer Care in July of 2024.  Dr. Chahin is a native of Beaufort, SC and graduated from Clemson University with a BA in Biological Sciences, with a minor in Spanish.  He received his medical degree from the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2018. Upon graduation from medical school, Dr. Chahin completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville followed by a three-year fellowship in hematology and oncology at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA, in 2024.  During his training Dr. Chahin published multiple manuscripts targeting blood cancer, opioid usage, and treatment protocols. In addition to multiple successful publications, Dr. Chahin has presented at several conferences in the southeast on his findings in research. His research and presentation activities resulted in Dr. Chahin receiving the Malcom T. Foster Scholarship Award for his scholarly work as a resident.  While a fellow, he served as Chief Fellow for the 2023-2024 academic year as the leader of his fellowship cohort. Dr. Chahin is board certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, and Hematology. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology, &amp; Georgia Society of Clinical Oncology. Dr. Chahin sees patients at three of St. Joseph’s / Candler clinic locations in Savannah, Pembroke, and Statesboro. He is married and has one daughter. He enjoys hiking, kayaking, and following Clemson football.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Meet Our Physicians - Tonjeh M. Bah, MD</image:title>
      <image:caption>Dr. Tonjeh Mary Stella Bah joined Summit Cancer Care in February 2026. She earned her first Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Dschang in the Western Province of Cameroon. In 2002, she moved to the United States to continue her education at Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, where she majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry. She graduated in 2006 at the top of her class, Summa Cum Laude, and received numerous awards for leadership, student involvement, and community service. Following her undergraduate studies, Dr. Bah took a two-year leave to support her family while working as a Certified Nursing Assistant and phlebotomist. Through her work with nursing home residents and cancer patients, she discovered her calling to become a physician. Dr. Bah earned her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies, and completed a highly competitive combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at LSU Health Shreveport. She then pursued fellowship training in Hematology and Medical Oncology at the Feist-Weiller Cancer Center, LSU Health Shreveport, where she served as Chief Fellow. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology, and serves on the Medical Oncology Board of the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Bah is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the Arnold P. Gold Humanism Honor Society, and the Christian Medical and Dental Associations Education Program. Her professional memberships include the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, and the American Cancer Society. For the past six years, Dr. Bah practiced as a Medical Oncologist and Hematologist at MetroHealth Cancer Institute in Cleveland, Ohio, where she held several leadership roles, including Assistant Professor of Medicine, Medical Director of the Adult Sickle Cell Program, Commission on Cancer Chair, Team Leader of Medical Oncology, and Co-Leader of the Breast Center of Excellence. She is deeply committed to teaching and mentoring future healthcare professionals. Dr. Bah currently sees patients in Savannah and will expand her practice to Statesboro and Pembroke beginning in June 2026. Her faith is central to her life and work, and she views medicine as both a profession and a calling. Outside of clinical practice, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and is actively involved in medical missions and community outreach in Uganda and Ecuador.</image:caption>
