Savannah native Dr. Christopher Haberman has returned home to join the team of specialists at Summit Cancer Care. To his oncology expertise he adds a personal commitment to patients, and his patients find his calm and confident manner an enriching dimension in their care.
Dr. Haberman graduated from Savannah Country Day School in 1987 and then obtained a B.S. in Biology from the College of Charleston and a Masters in Renal Physiology from the University of Georgia. A graduate of Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, Georgia, Haberman completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Baptist Health System in Birmingham, Alabama. He then completed a Medical Oncology fellowship at the Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Board certified in Internal Medicine, Haberman is also involved in ongoing breast cancer research.
Dr. Haberman is a member of the American College Of Physicians, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the Georgia Society of Clinical Oncology. He is a medical staff member at Memorial Health University Medical Center, St. Joseph’s Hospital and Candler Hospital. Dr. Haberman is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology.
